| THE DIVING - 3 days included Costa Rica Scuba Diving is world class, and we have assembled the ultimate diving and adventure package for you. You will enjoy a tremendous amount of marine life -- both pelagics and macro. Schooling fish can be found on every dive site, as well as small critters like sea horses, frog fish, and harlequin clown shrimp, and the big stuff like whale sharks, white tip sharks, bull sharks, manta rays, spotted eagle rays, cow nose rays, sting rays, humpback whales, orcas, pilot whales, false killer whales, sail fish, marlin and much more. This prolific marine life and guides with a great eye for marine life -- large and small -- is what keeps divers returning year after year. Our dive package is with a PADI 5-Star Dive Center operating out of the resort in the Gulf Of Papagayo. 3 Days of diving are included, and long-range trips to the Catalina and Bat Islands are available for even more underwater adventure. During your visit to Guaytil, you will learn the rich cultural history of this craft and watch as local artisans make pottery employing traditional methods that have been handed down for generations Be sure to bring some money to purchase some of this beautiful artwork, which you are sure to enjoy for years. |  | Tenorio River (Class III-IV) (Full Day) White Water Rafting in Costa Rica's NW Pacific. Extreme FUN and Wildest Rapids. The Tenorio River (Class III-IV) is the only river available to enjoy Class III and Class IV white water rafting in the Guanacaste beach area and one of the most exciting in Costa Rica. Four-man guided rafts plunge through wild rapids and tumbling drops of up to 10 feet.This river totally rocks -- and it is not for the meek and mild. Four-man rafts and 6-8 ft drops make it even more challenging to stay in the raft. Please remember that everyone paddles. The Tenorio River in Costa Rica rises near the Tenorio Volcano where it becomes a fast moving river, with 15 miles of rapids popular for white-water rafting, then flows to join the Corobicí River, the best river in the area for wildlife observation. You are picked up at your hotel after breakfast in one of our private air-conditioned vehicles. It takes around one hour for this scenic drive. We go directly to the Corobici River. Here we meet up with the rafting operators and head for the Tenorio River. After the scenic drive you will check in with the rafting company and will transfer to their vehicles for transport to the put-in point of the Tenorio River (approx 30 min drive). Experienced River Rafting Guides will carry the rafts, paddles, safety equipment and refreshments to the riverbank where you will be given rafting equipment and basic rafting and safety instructions before you embark on your rafting tour. Start with gentle white water breaks and work your way through Class III and IV rapids and thrilling drops. Safety kayakers accompany rafters for the entire trek. Break for snacks and beverages and to enjoy a little time on land or in the sun with your rafting guides and other rafting companions. At the end of the tour, guides will carry the gear up the banks and once loaded you will return to a restaurant overlooking the beautiful Corobici River and enjoy a typical lunch and local fruit beverage.
