Enriched Air Nitrox DiverWhat's the value of Enriched Air Nitrox Diver certification?Welcome to one of our most popular specialties – the Enriched Air Diver course. Diving with enriched air nitrox lets you safely extend your no stop time beyond the no decompression limits for air. What will I do?During the Enriched Air Nitrox diver course, you'll use PADI's state-of-the-art eLearning system to learn to safety increase your no-decompression limits, plan enriched air nitrox dives using tables and dive computers, learn how to analyze your cylinder contents, and dive using Enriched Air Nitrox up to 40% oxygen.

This Specialty course prepares you for the basic equipment maintenance, care and adjustments you'll encounter every day. Full-face Mask DiverWhat's the value of Full-face Mask Diver certification?Diving in a full-face mask is a unique and enjoyable experience. Many divers use a full-face mask for the ability to have underwater communications ability. Others use the full-face mask for protection from a cold-water environment. Many Nitrox divers use them as a safety consideration. Full-face masks require a new set of skills for use and maintenance and this course will prepare the diver for its safe and comfortable use.

The use of oxygen for First Aid in a diving emergency is recognized as being extremely beneficial. Being able to render aid to another diver with oxygen can often make a real difference in the outcome.

Research Diver What's the value of Research Diver certification?
Ever wonder how marine biologists figure out how many fish of a certain specie live in a body of water? Or, how do they figure out what makes up a “community” in the coral reef? This course gives you the opportunity to not only find out how they do it but also get the opportunity to practice some of the skills and procedures they use. You will also sharpen your general diving skills and powers of observation in this course.
What will I do?You will learn how to build and use an effective “counting grid” underwater. You will learn how to conduct an effective underwater census as well as various other techniques such as sampling and record keeping underwater.

Resort DivemasterThis is a Scuba Frisco Sports Pro-level course, not a PADI course, designed to prepare the individual for employment in the resort environment. As such, it requires a Divemaster, or higher, certification and a commitment in time by the participant. This program is extensive, personalized and may include an internship with one of our affiliates in the Caribbean. Knowing what you are looking at and being able to appreciate what you are seeing enhances the experience. After all, there are hundreds of different types of sharks and they all have a story to tell.
What will I do?You will learn what makes a shark different from other fish and how unique the shark is. You will learn how the shark is adapted to its environment and how this affects its behavior. You will learn about “shark encounters” and how you should conduct yourself during these magic moments. You may take a field trip to put it all together before your own encounter.

Underwater ArchaeologyWhat's the value of Underwater Archaeology certification?It is said that anything that is lost or sunk in the water enters a time capsule. How long has man been around and on the water? A LONG time. Today archaeologists have realized how much history and knowledge is to be found underwater and underwater archaeology has taken a long neglected position in piecing together the story of man. Shipwrecks can provide artifacts that are not to be found anyplace else. However, making sense of what one finds underwater requires specific techniques of discovery, measurement and recording or the story may be lost. This course is designed to introduce the participant to the skills and techniques used in underwater archaeology and builds and appreciation for the process.
What will I do?You will explore the various techniques used to excavate and record artifacts underwater. You will build your own excavation grid and you will conduct a full excavation process. You will also get the chance to operate an airlift to conduct and excavation where you might discover “treasure”. You will prepare a complete site map for your archaeology site and you will definitely learn some new diving skills.
