We regret that we must cancel this year's Dive & Dine Event. Conditions at Lake Travis due to the drought are not favorable, nor safe for scuba diving. We continue to hope for lots of rain in the coming months, and we plan to bring Dive & Dine back in 2012.

Join your dive buddies and the crew of Scuba Frisco Sports for a fun filled weekend of diving, learning, playing, camping and dining! At Dive and Dine Weekend you can take a scuba course, try out the latest diving hardware and underwater photography gear, or just dive.

Enjoy camaraderie with your dive buddies, a Saturday night sunset and barbecue dinner courtesy of Scuba Frisco Sports. All of this will be held at Windy Point Park on scenic Lake Travis in Austin, Texas, the weekend of October 15 & 16. We hope you will join us!

Now, here's some more details if you plan to complete a course during the weekend...

All training for Dive and Dine Weekend may be reserved in advance by calling Scuba Frisco Sports. You must be registered by October 1 to participate in any of the training events on Dive and Dine weekend.

Anyone that completes Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver and 5 Specialties can be certified as a Master Scuba Diver. If you start that process during Dine and Dive Weekend we will pay your certification fee for Master Scuba Diver to show our admiration and appreciation.

A few of the programs will require some activity prior to Dive and Dine Weekend:

Open Water Diver students must have completed PADI eLearning and all confined water dives.

Advanced Open Water requires the use of the Adventures in Diving Manual and completion of the 5 Knowledge Reviews pertaining to the dives you will do at the lake prior to lake weekend. Online training is included in the cost.

Rescue Diver requires CPR certification prior to training as well as an evening in the pool. Online training is included in the cost

If you elect to do the Advanced Open Water Night Dive or the Night Diver Specialty you will need to provide your own primary and backup dive lights.

U/W Digital Photography is available even if you don’t have an U/W camera. Please call Jeff at 214-227-2494 if you have any questions.

There are multiple training scenarios that can be done this weekend so if you don’t see what you want just ask. Odds are we can get you going on just about any facet of diving this weekend, plus having a lot of fun!
